Welding and Soldering Fume Extractors - Arc, MIG, TIG, Plasma Cutting, Brazing and Soldering - Filter Airborne Chemicals, Vapor Gases, Odors as well as Smoke! Harmful toxins in the industrial workplace are recognized as a major cause of occupational asthma, chronic absenteeism, headaches and respiratory irritation. Resulting fumes from welding and soldering can contain complex gaseous compounds and particles capable of causing a variety of serious ailments. Acute exposure to welding fumes can result eye, nose, and throat irritation, fever, chills, headache, nausea, shortness of breath, muscle pain, and a metallic taste in the mouth. Chronic exposure to welding fumes can result in respiratory effects including coughing, wheezing, and decreased pulmonary function. We offer an industrial fume extractor air cleaner specifically designed to remove the fumes generated by the welding process where the process takes place. Volume of air is calculated so not to influence on the quality of the welding. A four stage filtration system including a 1" Spark Arrestor and 2" deep 99.97% HEPA down to 0.3 microns and based with Large 40 lbs of activated carbon to neutralize the chemicals and gases found in welding fumes.
